Terms & Condition

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website operated by MERIN SYSTEMS (“we,” “us,” or “our”) located at https://merinsystems.in/ (the “Site”) and your purchase of any refurbished electronic products, including laptops, offered on the Site.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Product Sales and Availability

1.1 Product Condition

All products sold on the Site are refurbished electronics and are clearly marked as such. Refurbished products are pre-owned items that have been inspected, tested, and restored to full working condition. They may have minor cosmetic imperfections (e.g., scratches, dents) that do not affect functionality.

1.2 Product Specifications

We strive for accuracy in product descriptions, images, and pricing. However, due to the nature of refurbished goods, actual specifications (e.g., battery life, exact model year) may vary slightly. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

1.3 Inventory

All sales are subject to product availability. If a product you ordered is out of stock, we will notify you and offer an alternative or a full refund.

2. Pricing and Payment

2.1 Pricing

All prices are listed in  INR and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes, shipping, or handling charges, which will be added to your total order price during checkout.

2.2 Payment Terms

We accept payment via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI. By providing payment details, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the designated payment method.

3. Shipping and Delivery

3.1 Shipping Locations

We currently ship to all over India.

3.2 Delivery Time

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier service, customs, or other factors outside of our reasonable control.

3.3 Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and title for items purchased from the Site pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier. If an item is damaged or lost during shipping, you must contact us within days of the estimated delivery date so we can initiate a claim with the carrier.

4. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty

4.1 Limited Warranty

We provide a limited warranty on all refurbished products for a period of 6 months from the date of delivery. This warranty covers hardware failure, internal defects but excludes damage caused by misuse, accidents, liquid spills, software issues, or unauthorized repairs.

4.2 Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return the product within 2 days of delivery, provided it is in the same condition as received.

  • A restocking fee of 10% may apply to non-defective returns.
  • The product must be returned with all original packaging and accessories.

4.3 Refund Process

Refunds will be processed ands credited to the original method of payment within 3 – 5 business days after we have received and inspected the returned item.

4.4 Replacement/exchange Process

If any replacement / exchange required kindly contact us within 2 days of delivery and return the products. Post request you will get notified about the approval for replacement/exchange. 

If any replacement / exchange is approval the new item will get delivered to you within 3 – 5 working days from the date of approval.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, product names, and software, is the property of MERIN SYSTEMS or its suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or exploit any content without our express written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MERIN SYSTEMS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF DATA OR PROFIT) ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF THE SITE OR THE PRODUCTS PURCHASED.

Our total liability to you for any damages, losses, and causes of action shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the product giving rise to the claim.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India

Any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach thereof shall be settled by binding arbitration in India.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Site after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.

Shipping Policy

All the items will get delivered to your registered address within 3 – 5 working days from the date of order.
